Besides doing physics, I like outdoor sports, being close to my family members, and if possible to support community services and political awareness. Below are some experiences I have had before. Also sometimes I wrote my thoughts on my blog ( and boke in Chinese).

RGHTA
|
I once joined several associations. Rutgers Graduate Housing Tenants Association (RGHTA) was one created in 2002, during the time
when the graduate students at Rutgers were trying to negotiate
with the administration about rent increase. Accidentally I was a
one of the founding members of this association. Although this
association no longer exists (incorporated into a GSA committee),
it is still very interesting to look back its history. I used a
phpBB forum (backup mode) a database that records what was
happening, also there are some interesting
video clips (realplayer format) made at that time by one of my friend.

RCSSA
|
Rutgers Chinese Students & Scholar's Association (RCSSA) is an active association for Chinese students at Rutgers with a long history.
I made a lot of friends there when I helped to maintain the
organization's website,
and email list from 2000 to 2004. I also strongly encouraged
people to use the phpbb forum as a searchable database to service local Chinese
community. It helped to store the useful information and also
recorded the ardent discussions of bylaws of CSSA, about how to
elect RCSSA officers, and about democracy in general. I served
as the administrator of the forum and really want someone to
continue the tech support for this forum. Here is a frozen copy on my website.
